Master of Science in Esthetic Dentistry

Launched in 2019, Goethe University Frankfurt's Master of Science in Esthetic Dentistry, in collaboration with the International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry, offers a unique, multidisciplinary 90 ECTS part-time program.

Goethe University Frankfurt, in close cooperation with the International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry, has launched an international Master of Science program in Esthetic Dentistry in 2019. This postgraduate academic program is part of the Postgraduate School of the Frankfurt University Dental Institute Carolinum, which has been providing academic and high-level dental education for 15 years. Other programs are related to oral implantology and dental technology.

This 90 ECTS part-time program provides advanced multidisciplinary academic training in English. Considering the time constraints of our dental professionals, participants only need to travel to Frankfurt 3 times over the course of 2 years, each time for 10 days. The face-to-face lectures and practical courses are accompanied by an intensive virtual e-learning program in a flipped classroom scenario.

As an accredited Master of Science program, the independent, non-sponsored background ensures unbiased insights into the latest scientific and empirical treatments with critical reflection on existing methods and interventions. Participants stay abreast of the changing technological advances and needs in esthetic dentistry while retaining the know-how of established best practices.

Today, this annual international program is in its fourth class, and applications for the fifth class will begin in January 2024.
